While there is no mention of it in [[Serdio]], [[Tiberoa]] retains some of its history as [[Fester]], an astrologist and Governor, was able to recall that its descent from the [[Moon That Never Sets]] every 108 years coincided with the appearance of the [[Black Monster]]. In [[Mille Seseau]], the mythological context is revealed: the Moon Child is sent as a herald of the gods to revive them on earth only to be slain by the Black Monster who abhors it.

			==Story Revelations (Spoilers)==
			In [[Vellweb]] it is revealed that the Moon Child from legend is real and survived the massacre carried out by the Black Monster 18 years prior. When [[Shana]] is revealed to be the Moon Child, it is also exposed the Moon That Never Sets is actually the unborn flesh of the God of Destruction: the 108th fruit of the [[Divine Tree]]. The Soul of this God transmigrates into a newborn Human every 108 years and that is what it means to be the Moon Child. It is said to possess a power that turns those around it into evangelists for the God. Two apparent powers are the ability to hear the voice of [[Virage]], seen in [[Volcano Villude]] and the [[Valley of Corrupted Gravity]], and to project a magical corona of light with various effects, as seen when Shana disintegrates [[Urobolus]] in the [[Limestone Cave]] and to push the Virage back in the Valley of Corrupted Gravity.

			In [[Ulara]] it is revealed that the God of Destruction is the Virage Embryo and likely the source of the Virage the [[Wingly\|Winglies]] used during the [[Dragon Campaign]]. This explains why hearing the voice of Virage is one of the Moon Child's powers.

			In the Moon That Never Sets, Shana's body would have been absorbed into the flesh of the God if not for [[Melbu Frahma]]'s intervention. After the flesh of the God is destroyed, it is unclear what becomes of its Soul. There are two likely possibilities:
			#The Soul remains within Shana but now has no body to return to.
			#The Soul left Shana once her body was prevented from merging and merged with the flesh at the same time as Melbu.
			In both cases it is still unknown whether it will continue to transmigrate every 108 years for eternity, enter a form of afterlife, or simply cease to exist.
