Serido is the country in Endiness that is furthest to the East, and borders only Tiberoa. Serdio has long been a unified and peaceful place. However, two decades ago, Doel Siezed power and split the country in half by murdering his brother, the then King of Serdio, and declared himself the Emperor of Serdio.  This tore Serdio in half, and began a civil war that would last 20 years. Southern Serdio became Sandora, led by Emperor Doel, and Northern Serdio became known as Basil, led by King Albert, Carlo's young son.

Basil – The kingdom in the North of Serdio, led by King Albert, the rightful King of Serdio as Carlo’s son and holder of the Moon Gem. Serdio’s military force is divided into numbered units called Knighthoods, which as the name implies, are each commanded by a Knight, who act as the Generals in the Military. This means that regarding military affairs, Lavitz Slambert, as Head of the First Knighthood of the Kingdom of Basil, is at the right hand of the King. The settlements in the country are Bale, the capital which is the home of Indels Castle; Hoax, which once was a town but became fort-like due to being at the frontlines against Sandora; The Seventh Fort, also on the frontlines, not far from Hoax; and Seles, a small rural community on the south side of the mountains, which seems to have been largely left alone from the war due to not being in a very strategic position for either side.

Sandora – The rebel empire to the south, which was founded by Emperor Doel upon the murder of his brother. Sandora is in possession of at least 2 dragons, one of which aids magical research in the Black Castle and the other is for battle. Each Dragon is also accompanied by a Dragoon, which helps control it. Sandora’s military is composed of units each led by a commander, who are subordinates of the Great Commander. Fruegel, the Head Warden at Hellena either had military rank, or has sway over the commander in charge of acquiring Shana. The settlements of Sandora include Kazas, the Capital which is home of the Black Castle; Lohan, which is a commerce town which has remained largely untouched by the war possibly due to it being critical to both sides for trade; and Hellena Prison, led by Head Warden Fruegel, which appears to be the highest security prison in the world.

Trivia
  • There are apparent mispellings of Serdio both in the game and in other reference material. Names include Seldio and Seludio. They may be literal translations from Japanese.
