|Combat=Fire Bird begins battle using physical attacks against either the entire party simultaneously or individual targets. When weakened, it switches its party-wide attacks to <span style=background-color:red;color:white> '''Fire''' </span>-elemental magic attacks instead. Every time Fire Bird is targeted by any physical attack, including Dragoon Additions and even if they miss, it has a chance to ignore turn order and respond immediately. The possible responses are cyclic. It may either use any of its normal attacks, summon Volcano Balls, or force the Volcano Balls to detonate and deal damage in that order. If there are no Volcano Balls in battle when it tries to make them explode, it does nothing instead. When it uses any of these responses, it will not respond the same way again until it has used the other two responses. Whenever there are Volcano Balls in battle, Fire Bird will always force them to detonate on its next regular turn. Otherwise, it uses its regular attacks.
