URGENT: This is copy-and-pasted from Albert's Story section. It will need to be described in better detail and the character's perspective must be removed.
As the party leaves [[Lohan]], a wounded Knight of Basil limps into town, mortally grateful to find Lavitz. He reports that Imperial Sandora launched a surprise attack on Bale and has taken the King as captive. Overcome with concern for King Albert, Lavitz loses self-control and is subdued by the martial arts master, [[Haschel]], the third place winner of the Hero Competition. When Lavitz regains consciousness, Haschel returns from his scouting mission to report that Bale is under occupation and that Lavitz is the only hope for his king and country. In exchange for the safety of his people, King Albert was willingly taken to Hellena Prison. With renewed hope, Dart and party return to Hellena Prison, only this time with new party members and Dragoon spirits.

Dart, Shana, Lavitz, Rose, and Haschel rush to the king's rescue. Upon entering Helena Prison, there is a cutscene where King Albert is shown being held captive on the roof of Helena Prison by the cruel head warden, Fruegel. Fruegel threatens that he will kill King Albert at sunrise should The Hooded Man not appear to stop him, as they only need the king's body. King Albert refuses to speak to Fruegel until Fruegel goads him with the idea that anyone who comes to the king's aid will be killed. King Albert then becomes animated, imploring that no one be hurt as those were the terms of which he agreed to submit to capture. Hearing a report that Dart and Lavitz were seen on the prison grounds, Fruegel insists that he will kill King Albert and the rescue party and laughs maniacally, ending the cutscene.
Upon arrival at the prison, the party nearly misses the drawbridge being raised for another supplies delivery. Valiantly, Lavitz scales the rising bridge and overcomes the guards. With the drawbridge lowered once again, the team is free to infiltrate the prison and search for King Albert. However, this time, there is no warden at the watch tower.

(The party fight guards, travel on elevators at a different section of the Prison, and must fight Fruegel's Pet, [[Jiango]].)
Meanwhile, on the roof top of the prison, Fruegel delights in the coming of dawn as he generously promises his captive, King Albert, that he may see the sun once more before his impending execution. Honourably, King Albert refuses to be roused by him, claiming that he has no means to speak with vulgar men. When Fruegel reveals the trap set for Dart and party, King Albert is shocked by the villainy of both Fruegel himself and Lord Doel. A warden arrives to announce that Lavitz and the red one, Dart, have arrived on scene but that they will never reach the top floor alive.

The party fight their way to the roof of Hellena Prison by dawn, just as Fruegel is pulling his club back to complete the promised coup de grace. Shana intercepts the blow with an arrow shot, initiating the final battle against the leader of Hellena Prison. Fruegel is slain, once and for all. The battle over, the party are startled to hear the king cry out in pain. The Hooded Man had entered during the fight and was stealing the [[Moon Gem]] that had been sealed inside of the king. Lavitz lunges to intercept, donning his [[dragoon]] armor and diving at The Hooded Man. Tragically, Lavitz is cut down by The Hooded Man in one blow with what Rose will later explain is a [[Dragon Buster]] sword. The Hooded Man, revealed to be the undefeatable hero [[Lloyd]], escapes, leaving the party to mourn their lost member. The dragoon spirit leaves Lavitz and flies into the air to find its next chosen one, only to return and float before King Albert. The king accepts the stone and leaves the prison with the party.
Dart and party find themselves in the storeroom once again with the same Merchant from the first visit, who is still willing to quietly cooperate and sell them items. The party heads toward the prison towers; however, the elevator to the second floor is out of order. Turning back and passing by the storeroom, the party heads for another elevator that was previously broken but has since been repaired. After navigating an intricate system of elevators, doors and rope ladders, the party reaches the skybridge and follows the path to the second floor corridor where the [[Prison Key]] was found during the first visit. Full of arrogance and scorn, the wardens jeer at the party before releasing the trap door. They fall into a dusty, gray prison chamber with skeletons and bones strewn about. Shana notices a draft from behind a massive boulder when the party hears the growling of Fruegel's infamous pet, [[Jiango]]. After overcoming the hideous beast, the party realizes that the boulder blocking the path has been crushed and they can now escape. Ascending the stairs, they return to the second floor corridor and head left to ascend another flight of stairs to reach the roof top.

Meanwhile, Fruegel announces sunrise with a sickening glee. He mocks King Albert's wish for peace by promising him an end to the war achieved with his own execution. Although knowingly defying Lord Doel and the silver haired one, Fruegel intends to follow through with his death threat until Shana looses an arrow and the party arrives to rescue King Albert. After the party defeats his pet beasts, [[Rodriguez]] and [[Guftas]], Lavitz lands the finishing blow to finally vanquish the nefarious Fruegel.

Suddenly, the [[Hooded One]] appears and taking King Albert hostage, he stabs his thieving hand into the King's back and reveals the [[Moon Gem]]. Fearlessly, Lavitz transforms into the Jade Dragoon and nosedives into the Hooded One, who instantly brandishes a formidable, magical blade and slays Lavitz in his place. His hood falls away to reveal [[Lloyd]], the first place winner of the Hero Competition in Lohan. With haste, Lloyd makes his escape leaving behind a gruesome scene. As Lavitz lays dying, he entrusts the protection of King Albert to Dart before ultimately perishing. King Albert grimaces when the life leaves Lavitz's body and Shana winces, turning away into Rose. The Jade Dragoon spirit once again flies into the air from its lost host only to sink down before King Albert, the next Jade Dragoon. In agony, Dart screams Lavitz's name into the heavens.

Combat

Hellena Prison is a prison island on the southernmost coast of Serdio accessible solely by a narrow drawbridge leading to a black stone prison resembling a skull. Torch light glows and black smoke rises from the structure's eyes and nostrils. The prison is under tight security with guards patrolling every room, ready to attack intruders without hesitation. Fruegel, the prison warden, is a cruel giant of a man who greatly abuses his power. Under his rule, the prison has become renown for brutality and the inhumane treatment of its prisoners as captives are taken there, but are never released.

Story

After making his way through the Forest, Dart arrives at a pathway leading to Hellena Prison. Dart hesitates and looks down the narrow path leading to a single drawbridge, where he would surely be exposed on all sides. While thinking of a plan to infiltrate the prison, a merchant's caravan arrives and heads straight for the gate. Dart decides to tail the caravan with the hopes of sneaking in unnoticed.

At the gate, The Merchant declares his merchandise of meat and fish to the Hellena Warden guarding the entry. The Merchant asks about the recent increase in shipments and is reprimanded by the warden as he begins his inspection. Meanwhile, Dart dashes to the opposite side of the caravan, staying out of sight until the delivery is approved for entry. The drawbridge lowers, the warden returns to his post and Dart dives into the back of the caravan heading into the prison.

After safely entering Hellena Prison, Dart jumps out of the caravan and startles The Merchant, who calls out in fear and quickly is followed up by a guard. A fight ensues. Making short work of the guard, Dart assures The Merchant that he will not be harmed and the Merchant swears to secrecy. Dart is now able to buy items from The Merchant. Outside the stables, guards patrol in rhythmic paths.

Dart ascends the prison through the means of a pully elevator system, located outside of the prison cells. The elevators and flooring are uneven wood construction on brick or carved stone. Fire torches light the hallways and exterior entryways. Once Dart enters the prison tower on the first floor, there is the guards' immediate alarm and a cutscene begins. Two guards are harassing their new prisoners, knights of Basil, taunting them and eluding that they will soon be fed to Fruegel's monster. A fight breaks out as a prisoner attempts to escape. Running in from an adjacent hallway, a strong spearman in green defends the knights from the guards and orders them to continue on to the castle. Unfortunately, additional Hellena guards intercept the escaping knights. The prisoners are thrown off the floor and to their deaths.

Dart joins the fight and is quickly introduced to the spearman, who is the honorable Lavitz, Head of the First Knighthood in the Kingdom of Basil. They fend off guards together before Lavitz turns on Dart, spear clashing with sword. Dart quickly introduces himself, explaining that "he is not the enemy." They fight off another wave of guards before they can discuss their reasons for being in Hellena Prison in depth. Dart explains his need to rescue Shana and Lavitz insists that they travel together to ensure their ability to escape.

They travel together, eventually questioning why Shana was the only one with specialized security and the only one imprisoned from Seles. The key on top of the crate obtained, they travel to an adjacent prison tower, fight off more guards, and unlock Shana's door. Lavitz keeps watch as Dart enters. Shana had heard the commotion and recognized Dart's voice. She is happy to see her friend after five years, and the two reconcile as the soundtrack plays Shana's Theme. After, Shana and Dart leave the cell and rejoin with Lavitz. Outside more guards have arrived.

After the battle, Dart is worried about Shana and fusses over her. Shana counters that she is no longer a young girl and insists that she can fight for herself. Shana draws a bow that was resting outside a nearby cell. Lavitz is impressed that both she and Dart survived in Hellena, commending Shana's strength, but Dart cannot imagine Shana as any different from the childhood friend from his memory whom he must protect.

Meanwhile, Fruegel has been alerted of the party's escape. In his anger, Fruegel throws one of his men from the skyline bridge. Fruegel barks to the other guard to recapture the girl, alive, as explicitly ordered by Emperor Doel.

Together, the group returns to the first floor but are intercepted by the Warden Fruegel, who eludes that he will defeat them and feed the men to his pet. The evil warden is sure to include that although capturing Shana was an order from Majesty Doel, because the task was so trivial, destroying Seles was an additional command from Fruegel himself. Dart lashes out in anger and combat begins. Fruegel is not killed in the altercation, but this allows the party to escape the prison opportunistically and flee to the Prairie by horseback. Fruegel's men are hot on their tail.

After their escape, Fruegel and the mysterious black-robed Hooded Man discuss the warden's failure to keep the girl. The Hooded Man demands Fruegel to mend his mistakes; otherwise, he will tell the Emperor. The mistake is not dire, it is assured. The Hooded Man calmly reports that all is going according to plan.

Revisited

As the party leaves Lohan, a wounded Knight of Basil limps into town, mortally grateful to find Lavitz. He reports that Imperial Sandora launched a surprise attack on Bale and has taken the King as captive. Overcome with concern for King Albert, Lavitz loses self-control and is subdued by the martial arts master, Haschel, the third place winner of the Hero Competition. After the party defeats his pet beasts, Rodriguez and Guftas, Lavitz lands the finishing blow to finally vanquish the nefarious Fruegel.

Suddenly, the Hooded One appears and taking King Albert hostage, he stabs his thieving hand into the King's back and reveals the Moon Gem. Fearlessly, Lavitz transforms into the Jade Dragoon and nosedives into the Hooded One, who instantly brandishes a formidable, magical blade and slays Lavitz in his place. His hood falls away to reveal Lloyd, the first place winner of the Hero Competition in Lohan.
