After agreeing to take Popo's secret entrance into the castle, the party cannot return to Kazas until defeating Emperor Doel. Likewise, after defeating Emperor Doel, the Black Castle becomes completely inaccessible. The Material Shield is a unique repeat item that can only be collected here. The Beast Fang is a new weapon for Haschel that can also be dropped by [[Lizard Man]] back in [[Nest of Dragon]].
