Wingly Forest is found in Mille Seseau in the northeast from Evergreen Forest. This is a place where winglies that survived the Dragon Campaign made a self-sufficient society and are now living there, isolated from outside world. Wingly Forest is the hometown for Meru.
Story
- Introduction
The first time player sees this place is when Meru separates from the party and wants to visit her childhood friends. The second time is when the party is searching for Dragon Block Staff and Meru told them that it's there. She later has to reveal that she is a Wingly as she is forced to use her magic to open up the entrance.

- Meru's visit
When Meru visits the Forest alone, she is not greeted lightly. It starts with Guaraha mistaking her for an intruder and starting to fire fireball at her, which she successfully dodges. After that the two start discussing on how she broke taboo by leaving it and how Guaraha missed her. After that she tries to go in further, but she is then told by Ancestor Blano that her visit after leaving is unacceptable and that she has to leave. She eventually goes back to entrance and talks to Guaraha and he tells her that she picked wrong moment to come back, as Divine Dragon is about to be unsealed, tells her about Dragon Block Staff and then she leaves and heads to Deningrad to meet up with the others, feeling pretty disappointed by the outcome...
- In search of the Dragon Block Staff
After Meru comes back to the party, they go to Crystal Palace and start discussing on how to deal with Divine Dragon, Rose mentions Dragon Block Staff along with Dragon Buster and Meru slips a word that she might know about it, but says that "they heard nothing". After the party runs out of other clues, Rose asks if Meru knows something, and Meru hesitatingly responds and then guides them to the Wingly Forest. At the entrance she reveals that she is a Wingly and they enter. Everyone in the forest starts to feel even more tensed up by the visit of Meru and humans, but Ancestor Blano calms them down and gives an order to allow Meru and the party to proceed. On their way towards Ancestor Blano's room, they encounter Bardel brothers who try to attack them, but Dart transforms into Dragoon to absorb the hit. Once Meru and everyone arrives at Ancestor's place, he tells them that Dragon Block Staff is in Kadessa and charges the big teleport device with assistance of others.
- After Divine Dragon Defeated
Winglies of the forest notice that the dragon has died and celebrate the event, also allowing Meru to freely enter and leave the forest. As a result, most of them start to acknowledge what Meru has done and think about possibly leaving the forest to explore Endiness. Ancestor Blano thinks that he should send Meru and Guaraha to observe humans of Endiness and that the important role of leading Winglies should be left to younger people like Meru.
