Dimensions are created and used for the purpose of traveling between different planes of existence. Although they can have a wide variety of appearances and properties, all dimensions are generated by magic.
Known Dimensions
Standard
This dimension is host to the universe as humans and other sentient species understand it.
Emille's Portrait
A dimension created by Winglies. It contains a small amount of physical materials - just enough for two platforms and a chair. Touching the painting is enough to enter the dimension. A light bridge connects the two platforms, where Princess Emille is being kept in a gentle long-term slumber. When Emille exits the dimension, her body is no longer in the painting.
Wingly Forest
The Wingly Forest is a small village of Winglies connected to the Evergreen Forest. It is obscured from normal spacetime, and can only be accessed by Winglies.
Ulara
Ulara is a large town hidden in the vast Death Frontier. It is a town built for survivors of the Dragon Campaign, led by Charle who advocates for coexistence with humans. Existing outside of normal spacetime, Ulara can only be accessed by Winglies and Rose (with her choker). Anyone spending time in the town will have their age halted until they leave.
Moon That Never Sets
The Moon That Never Sets is the egg which will birth the Virage Embryo, the 108th fruit. It doubles as a place where thoughts manifest into reality, and spacetime is no longer concrete or linear.
Dimensions in Combat
Dragoon Space
Activated by a Dragoon transforming alongside other Dragoons. This dimension drowns out the appearance of the material world, replacing it with an energy aura attuned to the lead Dragoon's element. This strengthens the power of any ability matching that element, while weakening the power of any opposing-element abilities. Once the Dragoon de-transforms, the surroundings return to normal and all effects dissipate. See: Dragoon Space or Special?
Rose
More than one of Rose's abilities as the Darkness Dragoon involve dimensional space.
- Death Dimension captures a physical area in time, including living creatures. It becomes a flat rectangle, spinning faster and faster until Rose shatters it. The area is returned to normal space, and living beings take damage while often experiencing fear.
- Demon's Gate is more permanent, banishing living beings to another dimension permanently. In addition to Dragoon magic, it also requires a payment in blood. It is unknown if the target beings can ever return.
Kubila
During the battle in Zenebatos, Kubila has the ability to "carve" out part of normal space, whereby it unfolds to reveal an unknown dimensions lies beyond. A strange lizard or amphibian creature peeks through long enough to attack, before retreating back to its dimension.
