In the next scene, Shana is seen laying in a hospital bed while Sanator looks over her. “I couldn’t believe it was Dragon’s poison until I saw it with my own eyes.” he says, “… There is nothing wrong with the body… at lest that’s now it seems. But her consciousness has closed inward after she arrived here. It seems her mind is poisoned, not the body.” It seems there is nothing that can help Shana recover.

After consulting one of his “secret heirloom books”, Sanator comes across mention of a rare plant: the Dragoni Plant. Unfortunately, much like dragons, the plant has been lost to legend. The party decides to search for information about the plant in Lohan. While most of the townspeople are unconcerned with the issue, there is one lead: You really can find anything in Dabas’ Antiques.

Dabas’ Antique Shop: The eccentric shop owner [[Dabas]] owes the party a favor after Dart rescued him at [[Volcano Villude]]. When the party enters Dabas’ antique shop, this triggers a small cutscene that pans down across shelves of books, armor, and other curiosities to settle on the ground floor with Dart and Dabas. Dart asks Dabas if he carries herbs as well as antiques, but even though Dabas promises that his shop carries everything from extremely rare medicine to secret magical medicine, he still does not have any Dragoni Plant in stock. Fortunately, Dabas has a note in his secret notebook as to where he may have seen some Dragoni Plant: “North of the Poisoned Forest, past the troublesome plant, observed Dragoni Plant in the back of the shrine.” This prompts the party to remember an unused path they crossed in the Dragon’s nest, though it is decided they can’t get past the corrupted plant without purifying it with something (such as the pure spring water still resting at the bottom of the Dragon’s nest).

Upon leaving Lohan, the party is accosted by a persistent Street Vendor on the lowest level of Lohan’s shops. Dart remembers that, if they’re going to purify the strange plant blocking their way to the shrine and the Dragoni Plant, they’ll need something to carry the water in. Lavitz, Dart, and Rose approach the Street Vendor to try and find something to carry the Spring Water in. While the vendor does have something in stock, his prices are exorbitant! The party is expected to haggle. While the water-bottle starts at 100,000,000G, Dart can resist these offers and eventually the merchant, frustrated, gives the bottle to Dart for free.

Dart is the only member of the party to commit to the Hero Competition. Lavitz believes it to be improper to enter as a knight of Basil, and Rose believes she’ll spoil the fight by competing.

After the Hero Competition and the downtime afterwards, the party goes to make their way out of town. Before they can leave, a soldier of Basil crawls through the gates and collapses. He warns that [[Bale]] has been taken by the Sandoras, and that [[Doel]] is on a rampage across the continent. This sends Lavitz into a righteous rage to save King Albert, and he has to be subdued by Haschel. An unconscious Lavitz is taken back to Sanator to recover.

Lohan is a commercial city located in the southwest corner of Serdio. It hosts the Hero Competition in a central Arena and seems to be the largest city in Serdio after a civil war split the country into its northern and southern parts. It is described as a place where everybody is welcome; even during wartime. Lohan’s position as a trade hub means that it has shops with rare items, valuable weapons, and the best doctors.

Story

Lohan is a major hub for the story in the latter half of Disc 1. Dart, Rose, and Lavitz rush to Lohan after their fight with Feyrbrand. Exposure to the Dragon’s Nest having made Shana ill, the party has to make their way to Lohan to get her medical attention. Shana remains in Lohan while the party searches for a cure. After the resolution of this plot, Dart joins the hero competition where he meets his old mentor Haschel, as well as the mysterious Lloyd.

When Dart first enters Lohan, he’s seen carrying Shana in his arms as an elephant-like creature pulling a caravan nearly runs them over. The party rushes Shana to Sanator, a renown doctor living in the heart of Lohan.

In the next scene, Shana is seen laying in a hospital bed while Sanator looks over her. “I couldn’t believe it was Dragon’s poison until I saw it with my own eyes,” he says, “… There is nothing wrong with the body… at lest that’s now it seems.

Dabas’ Antique Shop: The eccentric shop owner Dabas owes the party a favor after Dart rescued him at Volcano Villude. Fortunately, Dabas has a note in his secret notebook as to where he may have seen some Dragoni Plant: “North of the Poisoned Forest, past the troublesome plant, observed Dragoni Plant in the back of the shrine.” This prompts the party to remember an unused path they crossed in the Dragon’s Nest, though it is decided they can’t get past the corrupted plant without purifying it with something (such as the pure spring water still resting at the bottom of the Dragon’s Nest.)

Later, after the encounter with Shirley at the shrine, the party returns with the Silver Dragoon Spirit to heal Shana. Dart lays the Silver Dragoon Spirit on Shana and prepares to draw power from it with the help of his Dragoon Spirit. However, the white-silver spirit reacts to Shana’s presence, recognizing her as the White-Silver Dragoon. Shana awakes from the bed fully healed, astonishing Sanator. Having made a full recovery, the begins to depart - but not before Sanator mentions that they should join the Hero Competition.

Hero Competition Lohan is host to a semi-annual Hero Competition to determine who is the strongest in the world. The Hero Competition takes place within the Arena, surrounded by the carnival. The competition is ranked, meaning that competitors can take first, second, or third place. Entry to the competition is free.

He warns that Bale has been taken by the Sandoras, and that Doel is on a rampage across the continent. This sends Lavitz into a righteous rage to save King Albert, and he has to be subdued by Haschel. An unconscious Lavitz is taken back to Sanator to recover.

After the Serdian War After Doel’s defeat and the reunification of Serdio, a passage opens that connects Southern Serdio with Northern Serdio. This allows the player to travel from north of Lohan to south of Hoax.

After Kongol joins the party in Tiberoa, Dart and friends can return to Lohan. This triggers a special cutscene with the street vendor where the party can purchase the spirit of the Golden Dragoon. Though the street vendor doesn’t know what he has, he still won’t take less than 1000G for the shiny pebble.
