Greetings! It’s October, and we’ve got multiple events to talk about!
Helloween 2025 – Art Event
Date: Now until Friday, October 31 @ 3pm CDT

Submission Rules
- Content must be spooky, or otherwise related to Halloween! Yes, there is much overlap with our previous Red Moon event.
- Content must follow our general community guidelines – PG-13, no extreme gore or violence, no nudity, et cetera. Keep in mind this is an inclusive, all-ages fandom.
- Must be submitted by Friday, October 31 @ 3pm CDT (convert time here).
Submission Process
- Create something! Art, music, writing, etc.
- Send it in! Two options
- Email: contact@legendofdragoon.org. Write “Helloween Submission” as the subject, and attach your fan work.
- LoD Discord: Helloween 2025 channel. Write “@DrewUniverse SUBMISSION” and include your work as an attachment (image file, audio file, text file, etc.)
If you wish to share your submissions, whether in-progress or finished, please feel free to do so! Here are some options:
- LoD Subreddit
- Bluesky – tag our community account and we might repost it!
- Twitter – same thing, tag our community account!
There were many submissions for Helloween 2024. This year we’re holding the event once again, inviting Legend of Dragoon fans to submit creative works. This can be fan-made art, music, written word, and so on. At the end of the event, submissions will be showcased in a community livestream on Friday, October 31st.
If you want some encouragement or company, we’ll have some creative sessions on the LoD Discord server via voice/video (lurkers welcome). Check the Events section.

- Pause the game with F11 (check menu > Options > Controls in case it’s different for you)
- enter free-cam mode by pressing control+M
- While in Free-cam: move the camera with
ijkl, ascend or descend withuando, and look around with mouse. - To exit free-cam, press control+M again.
- Press F11 to unpause the game.
LoD-Themed Minecraft Contest
Community member CelestialOrion is hosting a friendly competition – with prizes! Eight people will try to build a tower in his Minecraft arena, using resources from the nearby land. Each level of the tower represents one of the elements from Legend of Dragoon.
Date: October 25 & 26, 2025 (Sat & Sun)
Time: 12pm to 6pm Central Daylight Time (both days)

The contest is about speed and accuracy. There is a completed tower on the grounds which all contestants much recreate exactly. Build up one level of the tower at a time. The first three contestants to complete all tower levels will receive a prize! The reward comes in the form of your choice of game on Steam at set price points ($25, $15, $10 for 1st/2nd/3rd place).
There are only 8 slots for this event. Extra applicants will be in a “backup” list we call on in case one or more of the first eight people do not show up. Please ensure you will be available both days in case the event requires the second day.

- Send mail to contact (at) legendofdragoon.org
- Subject: Tower Contest
- Include display name and pronouns. This is how we’ll refer to you when we post the event results to the fandom.
- Include minecraft username
- You will receive a return email stating whether you are one of eight contestants, or on the backup list. This is determined by order of sign-ups.
- Please be ready early. The Minecraft server will open 5-10 minutes before start time so the host can get everyone in the MC world and situated.
- The event will run for as long as it takes for 3rd place to finish. At that time all builders must stop, and we’ll get a snapshot of how far everyone got with their towers. If there is not a 3rd tower complete by 6pm CDT on Saturday, participants are expected to resume on Sunday at 12pm CDT.
November Preview
One of the possible events in November relates to someone who worked on Legend of Dragoon as a voice actor! I’m still working on the details, but you’ll hear about this in the very near future. *wink*
