As was announced in the podcast yesterday, we’re doing a community event starting today, April 20th. It will last one week, and is just meant for practice. There are no prizes. These events may center around a myriad of scopes: specific characters or places, a certain classification, a mood, and so on. To start with, the subject this week is Plos! You can do a hand drawing, digital, or even cross-stitch. Any medium is fine! You may keep the design private or share with our community. Scroll down for reference images.
Submissions will be shown off in a news post next week on this website. If you wish to submit, send the image, scan, or photo to contact@legendofdragoon.org with the subject “Art event – Plos” and your alias. If you do not watermark or sign your image in some way, we are willing to place a website watermark to protect your image.
The first named NPC that players come across in Legend of Dragoon, Dart finds Plos in his village of Seles after it was raided by Sandora. Plos mentions to Dart that Shana was taken away during the attack, and then rests near a building. He is a basic NPC with a full robe and has white hair. As with many in-game NPCs, there isn’t much detail to the 3D model. You are welcome to keep it that simple or add extra detailing. You can include Dart in the image, but remember that the focus is Plos. Here is a visual representation from the game:
Reference Images
Plos has short grey hair, with moustache and beard. The moustache spills over the lips a bit, and the center of the beard meets the lower lip.
He has an open-front robe with a hood, worn over a long pale-blue gown. Reddish-brown belt. Basic brown footwear.
