Upcoming Events!

It has been quite a busy month for the fandom in terms of general activity as well as events and community projects. We’re finishing strong with two more events for the end of this month, and have more lined up for October!

Podcast Episode 4

Thursday Sept. 29th @6pm CDT

Tonight our main subject will be speedrunning! My guest, BlackDeathDoom will be telling us a bit about LoD’s speedrun history and what the climate is like now. The live broadcast will take place on the LoD Discord server in the Podcast stage channel. By Friday or Saturday the recording will be made available for on-demand listening. Head to the podcast page on our website, where you can find direct downloads as well as links out to many streaming platforms.

Livestream – Severed Chains

Corey and I take you through a Legend of Dragoon playthrough like never before. Continuing from last week, we will start off in Limestone Cave and see how far we get in 1-2 hours. Missed the first episode? Click here.

The game is being rebuilt from the ground up via reverse engineering, which will surpass standard emulation in terms of modding capability and optimization. Near-0 loading times and unlimited save slots are already in place, with more incredible additions on the way! Watch here and tick the notification button if you want to be reminded. **We’re still working out the title for this event, as it’s more than just a mod, more like a platform, and we find terms like reverse-engineered or decompiled aren’t friendly to most fans. We’re avoiding “PC Port” because word might spread like it’s an official port when it isn’t, so, bear with us a few weeks while we finalize the name.

October Events – Preview

As soon as we get a few late entries submitted, we will post the art showcase for our previous event on Dragoons. Then, in the first week of October we’ll announce a new event that is sure to scare up some artists!

Although not set in stone yet, we are aiming to stay on-track with the third Livestream playthrough on Friday, October 7th and future Fridays in general.

Podcast episode 5 may or may not take place in October, with everything else going on. It will depend on scheduling. In case that falls through, I will work to arrange something unique in its place.
